Falcon Millionaires played very dramatic 3rd place game against TJ Malešice. The finel score was only 10 : 9 and Falcons were very close to equalizing in the last seconds. Anyway the result and performance of their veteran team in this year NBLL was very good. See couple of pictures here. |

Final serie of National Box-lacrosse League starts on Friday Oct 17th at 7 p.m CET in Radotín. Defending champion LCC Radotín will match his traditional rival LC Jižní Město in best of five tour. The second match is scheduled on Tuesday Oct 21st, the thisd game wi be held on Friday Oct 24th. Eventual fourth match is planned on Tuesday 28th, the fifth one on Friday Oct 31st. Final Juniors' Box-lacrosse Leagues will be held on Sunday October 12th. Polish teams from Wrocław and Poznań will take part in the U-17 cathegory. Sokol Radotín Sport Club was established on October 28th, 1888. On Wednesday October 22th, 2008 we will celebrate this 120th anniersary. Internet TV www.net-tv.cz started to broadcast reports from Czech lacrosse games. The first step was the highlight of the first NBLL semi-final between LCC and Falcont. Now you can see reports from Junior box-lacrosse Leagues played on Sunday. The intention is to establish closer co-operation and broadcast games live too. The first live broadcast should be held on Sunday – all Junior Box-lacrosse games should be live at the website. Broadcasts of the NBLL finals are planned, too. |

The route of the World Harmony Run will lead to Radotín on Sunday October 5th, 2008, and the torch will arrive to TJ Sokol Radotín arena at abour 10.20 a.m. The World Harmony Run was founded by Indian athlete, philosopher and artist Sri Chinmoy in 1987 as an ocassion for people from various countries to express their hopes and desires for more harmonical world. Such personalities as Carl Lewis, Muhammad Ali, Nelson Mandela, Kateřina Neumannová, Martina Navrátilová or Mikhail Gorbachov have supported the Run. Also Karel Hanzlík, the Mayor of Radotín will officially welcome the torch at the arena. The celebration will be held during the tournament of junior lacrosse league. defeated Falcons 23 : 0 at the beginning of NBLL Phase 2. Four
top teams after the basic part will play each other in order to set a play-off
quarter-finals seedings. Combination of basic part and phase 2 results
will decide the final standings for play-offs. Same system will be appled
for lower 5 teams who will strugle for remaining four quarter-final slots.

National Box-lacrosse League continues on Tuesday August 26th. LCC will match Falcons. In the second phase of the competition top 4 teams will play each other to resolve the quarter-final games seeding. Remaining five teams will strugle for for remaining slots in quarter-finals. There were several changes in LCC, Falcons and Old Dog Plzeň rosters. LCC and Pardubice agreed that Jan Skokan will play for LCC while Adam Kostka will be a guest player in Pardubice. European Lacrosse Chapionships are held on August 6th–16th, 2008 in Lahti, Finland. Both Czech women's and men's national teams are getting ready for thie event. Women's and men's field-lacrosse Prague CUp is held from June 25th to 28th, 2008 at Slavia Praha Sport Centre in Prague 10. The first veteran tournament was held on Saturday March 29th in Radotín. Three teams who established Czech lacrosse league 21 years ago – LCC Radotín, TJ Malešice and Plzeň – met again to open the new turf lais on the arena. Only player ove 35 years were eligible for games. LCC Radotín won the tournament, TJ Malešice was the second, Plzeň the third. The mayot of Radotín Mr. Karel Hanzlík who was the patron of the tournament have awardes also the best individual players: the best scorer (Patrik Procházka, LCC), the best goalie (Jiří Pešek, LCC), tournament MVP (Miroslav Tůma, TJ Malešice), and the quickest scorer (Jiří Mikulka, TJ Malešice). –
